A physician–entrepreneur operating within complex, high-liability environments, he strengthens the firm’s ability to evaluate mission-critical innovations where human biology, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and operational execution converge.


He is the Founder and CEO of Prosperity Internal Medicine, a multi-physician practice serving the Washington, DC metropolitan region for over three decades. Under his leadership, the practice has earned recognition for clinical excellence and operational sophistication. Dr. Zahir has been named a “Top Doctor” in Internal Medicine by Washingtonian Magazine for ten consecutive years (2016–2025), reflecting sustained peer recognition for leadership in patient care.


Beyond frontline medicine, Dr. Zahir brings expertise in healthcare technology, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk mitigation within highly regulated systems. His experience spans HIPAA compliance, HL7 integration frameworks, and electronic health data protection, enabling him to assess emerging technologies for clinical rigor, regulatory durability, and scalable execution.


He is an active investor in early-stage healthcare and technology ventures focused on diagnostics, predictive analytics, and value-based care models. As Co-Founder of Tauzra, he is advancing a next-generation, breath-based multi-pathogen diagnostic platform utilizing graphene sensor technology originally developed through NASA research and artificial intelligence to deliver rapid, point-of-care results. He previously co-founded Minglrr, a social networking platform launched across five countries, connecting individuals through shared cultural and faith-based communities, demonstrating his ability to build and scale technology products beyond healthcare.


Dr. Zahir earned his Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University and his Doctor of Medicine from the Marshall University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
